⁴³ Solomon slept with his ancestors and was buried in the city of his father David, and his son Rehoboam succeeded him.^(A)

Jehoshaphat’s Reign

17 His son Jehoshaphat succeeded him and strengthened himself against Israel.^(A)

²⁴ Then Asa slept with his ancestors and was buried with his ancestors in the city of his father David; his son Jehoshaphat succeeded him.^(A)

⁸ Abijam slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city of David. Then his son Asa succeeded him.^(A)

Asa Reigns

14 ^[a]So Abijah slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city of David. His son Asa succeeded him. In his days the land was quiet for ten years.^(A)

Abijah Reigns over Judah

13 In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah began to reign over Judah.^(A)
