³⁴ After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, then ^(A)Abiathar. And the general of the king’s army was ^(B)Joab.

⁷ Then he conferred with ^(A)Joab the son of Zeruiah and with ^(B)Abiathar the priest, and ^(C)they followed and helped Adonijah.
