²⁰ And the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, ^[a]Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

^24 (A)Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was overseer of the treasuries.

¹⁶ Of the sons of Gershon, ^(A)Shebuel^[a] was the first.

^12 (A)The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel—four in all. ¹³ The sons of ^(B)Amram: Aaron and Moses; and ^(C)Aaron was set apart, he and his sons forever, that he should ^[a]sanctify the most holy things, ^(D)to burn incense before the Lord, ^(E)to minister to Him, and ^(F)to give the blessing in His name forever. ¹⁴ Now ^(G)the sons of Moses the man of God were reckoned to the tribe of Levi.
