40 to offer burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of the Lord that he commanded Israel.(A)

And you shall say to them: This is the offering by fire[a] that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, daily, as a regular offering.(A) One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight;[b] also one-tenth of an ephah of choice flour for a grain offering, mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil. It is a regular burnt offering, ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire[c] to the Lord. Its drink offering shall be one-fourth of a hin for each lamb; in the sanctuary you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord.(B) The other lamb you shall offer at twilight[d] with a grain offering and a drink offering like the one in the morning; you shall offer it as an offering by fire,[e] a pleasing odor to the Lord.

38 “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two lambs a year old regularly each day.(A) 39 One lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer in the evening, 40 and with the first lamb one-tenth of a measure of choice flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. 41 And the other lamb you shall offer in the evening and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as in the morning, for a pleasing odor, an offering by fire[a] to the Lord. 42 It shall be a regular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.(B)
