And all ^(B)the people said, “Amen!” and praised the Lord.

¹⁵ And he said: ^(A)“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who ^(B)spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled it, saying,

⁶ And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God.

Then all the people ^(A)answered, “Amen, Amen!” while ^(B)lifting up their hands. And they ^(C)bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.

⁵⁶ “Blessed be the Lord, who has given ^(A)rest^[a] to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. ^(B)There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.

¹⁶ Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who occupies the place of the uninformed say “Amen” ^(A)at your giving of thanks, since he does not understand what you say?
