^8 (A)These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: ^(B)Josheb-basshebeth a Tahchemonite; he was chief of the three.^[a] He wielded his spear^[b] against eight hundred whom he killed at one time.

^2 (A)Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel was in charge of the first division in the first month; in his division were 24,000.
