²⁹ These are their genealogies: The ^(B)firstborn of Ishmael was Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

¹⁷ and the remainder of the number of archers, the mighty men of the people of Kedar, will be diminished; for the Lord God of Israel has spoken it.”

⁹ So Esau went to Ishmael and ^(A)took ^(B)Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, ^(C)the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife in addition to the wives he had.

¹² Now this is the ^(B)genealogy of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s maidservant, bore to Abraham. ¹³ And ^(C)these were the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, ¹⁴ Mishma, Dumah, Massa, ^15 [a]Hadar, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. ¹⁶ These were the sons of Ishmael and these were their names, by their towns and their ^[b]settlements, ^(D)twelve princes according to their nations.
