11 Hãy bắt chước tôi, như chính tôi bắt chước Chúa Cứu Thế. 2 Tôi khen ngợi anh chị em vì anh chị em đã nhớ tất cả những gì tôi truyền dạy cho anh chị em và cẩn thận gìn giữ những truyền thống ấy.
3 Nhưng tôi muốn anh chị em biết rằng Chúa Cứu Thế là đầu của tất cả đàn ông, người đàn ông là đầu của đàn bà và Đức Chúa Trời là đầu của Chúa Cứu Thế. 4 Mỗi người đàn ông khi cầu nguyện hay nói tiên tri mà trùm đầu tức là làm nhục đầu mình. 5 Nhưng đàn bà khi cầu nguyện hay nói tiên tri mà không trùm đầu tức là làm nhục đầu mình. 6 Vì nếu đàn bà không che đầu thì hãy hớt tóc đi. Nhưng nếu đàn bà hớt tóc hay cạo đầu là việc hổ thẹn thì hãy che đầu lại. 7 Vì thật ra đàn ông không nên che đầu vì từ ban đầu họ là hình ảnh và vinh quang của Đức Chúa Trời. Còn đàn bà là vinh quang của đàn ông. 8 Vì đàn ông không phải được tạo dựng từ đàn bà nhưng đàn bà từ đàn ông. 9 Và đàn ông không phải được tạo dựng cho đàn bà nhưng đàn bà cho đàn ông. 10 Bởi đó vì các thiên sứ, phụ nữ nên mang trên đầu một dấu hiệu của uy quyền.
11 Tuy nhiên trong Chúa đàn bà không thể sống độc lập với đàn ông và đàn ông cũng không thể độc lập với đàn bà. 12 Vì như đàn bà được tạo dựng từ đàn ông thì đàn ông cũng do đàn bà sinh ra, và tất cả đều từ Đức Chúa Trời mà ra. 13 Anh chị em hãy tự xét về điều này: Đàn bà có nên che đầu khi cầu nguyện với Đức Chúa Trời hay không? 14 Có phải bản chất tự nhiên dạy anh chị em rằng: Nếu đàn ông để tóc dài tức là tự làm nhục mình, 15 còn đàn bà để tóc dài lại là xinh đẹp hay sao? Vì tóc dài là để thay thế cho khăn che đầu. 16 Nhưng nếu có ai tranh luận về vấn đề này thì chúng tôi không có tập tục ấy và các Hội Thánh của Đức Chúa Trời cũng không có như thế.
Các Nan Đề Khi Dự Tiệc Thánh
17 Còn về những điều sau đây, tôi không khen ngợi anh chị em được vì những buổi nhóm họp của anh chị em không đem lại lợi ích nhưng chỉ hại thêm. 18 Trước hết tôi nghe rằng có sự chia rẽ khi anh chị em nhóm họp thờ phượng. Tôi cũng tin một phần nào. 19 Vì phải có sự khác biệt giữa vòng anh chị em để nhận ra những người chân thật.[a] 20 Khi anh chị em nhóm họp một chỗ, anh chị em không dự tiệc thánh của Chúa. 21 Vì khi dự tiệc, mỗi người cứ ăn trước phần ăn của mình cho nên người thì đói, kẻ thì no say. 22 Anh chị em không có nhà riêng để ăn uống sao? Hay anh chị em khinh bỉ Hội Thánh của Đức Chúa Trời và coi thường người thiếu thốn? Tôi phải nói gì với anh chị em? Tôi có nên khen anh chị em không? Không! Tôi không khen anh chị em về vấn đề này đâu.
23 Vì điều tôi đã nhận từ nơi Chúa, tôi truyền cho anh chị em. Ấy là trong đêm Chúa Giê-su bị phản bội, Ngài lấy bánh; 24 sau khi tạ ơn, bẻ ra và phán: Đây là thân thể Ta hy sinh vì các con. Hãy làm điều này để nhớ đến Ta. 25 Cũng vậy, sau khi ăn Ngài lấy chén và phán: Chén này là giao ước mới trong huyết Ta. Mỗi khi các con uống, hãy làm điều này để nhớ đến Ta. 26 Vì mỗi khi các con ăn bánh và uống chén này hãy truyền bá sự chết của Chúa cho đến khi Ngài đến.
27 Vì thế, ai ăn bánh và uống chén của Chúa một cách không xứng đáng sẽ mắc tội với thân và huyết của Chúa. 28 Mỗi người nên xét chính mình, khi ăn bánh và uống chén này. 29 Vì người nào ăn hoặc uống mà không phân biệt thân Chúa tức là ăn và uống sự phán xét cho mình. 30 Vì vậy, trong anh chị em có nhiều người đau yếu, bệnh tật và một số chết. 31 Nếu chúng ta tự xét mình, chúng ta sẽ không bị đoán xét. 32 Nhưng khi chúng ta bị Chúa xét đoán để sửa phạt, chúng ta sẽ khỏi bị hình phạt chung với thế gian.
33 Thế thì, anh chị em của tôi, khi nhóm họp để dự tiệc thánh hãy chờ đợi nhau. 34 Nếu có ai đói, hãy ăn ở nhà hầu cho anh chị em nhóm họp không phải để bị đoán phạt. Còn nhiều điều khác khi tôi đến sẽ giải quyết.

3 我 願 意 你 們 知 道 ， 基 督 是 各 人 的 頭 ； 男 人 是 女 人 的 頭 ； 神 是 基 督 的 頭 。
4 凡 男 人 禱 告 或 是 講 道 （ 或 作 ： 說 預 言 ； 下 同 ） ， 若 蒙 著 頭 ， 就 羞 辱 自 己 的 頭 。

21 因 為 吃 的 時 候 ， 各 人 先 吃 自 己 的 飯 ， 甚 至 這 個 飢 餓 ， 那 個 酒 醉 。

11 Imitate(A) me, just as I also imitate Christ.
Head Coverings
2 Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to know that (B)the head of every man is Christ, (C)the head of woman is man, and (D)the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or (E)prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were (F)shaved. 6 For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is (G)shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since (H)he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man is not from woman, but woman (I)from man. 9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman (J)for the man. 10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, (K)neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord. 12 For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman; but all things are from God.
13 Judge among yourselves. Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him? 15 But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given [a]to her for a covering. 16 But (L)if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, (M)nor do the churches of God.
Conduct at the Lord’s Supper
17 Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse. 18 For first of all, when you come together as a church, (N)I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For (O)there must also be factions among you, (P)that those who are approved may be [b]recognized among you. 20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. 21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and (Q)another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise (R)the church of God and (S)shame [c]those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you.
Institution of the Lord’s Supper(T)
23 For (U)I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: (V)that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [d]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [e]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death (W)till He comes.
Examine Yourself
27 Therefore whoever eats (X)this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and [f]blood of the Lord. 28 But (Y)let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks [g]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the [h]Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many [i]sleep. 31 For (Z)if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, (AA)we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Therefore, my brethren, when you (AB)come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come.

On Covering the Head in Worship
2 I praise you(C) for remembering me in everything(D) and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.(E) 3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ,(F) and the head of the woman is man,[a](G) and the head of Christ is God.(H) 4 Every man who prays or prophesies(I) with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies(J) with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved.(K) 6 For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
7 A man ought not to cover his head,[b] since he is the image(L) and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man;(M) 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.(N) 10 It is for this reason that a woman ought to have authority over her own[c] head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12 For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. Correcting an Abuse of the Lord’s Supper(Q)
17 In the following directives I have no praise for you,(R) for your meetings do more harm than good. 18 In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions(S) among you, and to some extent I believe it. 19 No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God’s approval.(T) 20 So then, when you come together, it is not the Lord’s Supper you eat, 21 for when you are eating, some of you go ahead with your own private suppers.(U) As a result, one person remains hungry and another gets drunk. 22 Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God(V) by humiliating those who have nothing?(W) What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you?(X) Certainly not in this matter!
23 For I received from the Lord(Y) what I also passed on to you:(Z) The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body,(AA) which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant(AB) in my blood;(AC) do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.(AD)
27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.(AE) 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves(AF) before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.(AG) 31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.(AH) 32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined(AI) so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.(AJ)
33 So then, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should all eat together. 34 Anyone who is hungry(AK) should eat something at home,(AL) so that when you meet together it may not result in judgment.
