Об истинном Духе и ложном духе
4 Дорогие, не каждому духу верьте, но проверяйте, от Аллаха ли эти духи, потому что много лжепророков вышло в мир. 2 Вы можете распознать Духа Аллаха так: Дух, признающий, что Иса Масих пришёл в человеческом теле, – это Дух от Аллаха. 3 Но дух, не признающий Ису, – не от Аллаха.[a] Это дух врага Масиха, о котором вы слышали, что он придёт, и он уже есть в мире.
4 Дети, вы от Аллаха, и вы победили этих лжепророков, потому что Тот, Кто в вас, больше того, кто в мире. 5 Они от мира и поэтому говорят так, как говорят в мире, и мир слушает их. 6 Но мы от Аллаха, и кто знает Аллаха, тот нас слушает, кто же не от Аллаха, тот не слушает нас. Так мы распознаем Духа истины и духа лжи.
Аллах есть любовь
7 Дорогие, будем же любить друг друга, потому что любовь – от Аллаха, и каждый, кто любит, рождён от Аллаха и знает Аллаха. 8 Кто не любит, тот не знает Аллаха, потому что Аллах есть любовь! 9 Всевышний проявил Свою любовь к нам в том, что послал в мир Своего единственного Сына[b], чтобы мы через Него получили жизнь. 10 Любовь заключается не в том, что мы полюбили Всевышнего, но в том, что Всевышний полюбил нас и послал Своего Сына в умилостивление за наши грехи. 11 Дорогие, если Аллах нас так любит, то и мы должны любить друг друга. 12 Аллаха никто никогда не видел, но если мы любим друг друга, то в нас живёт Сам Аллах и Его любовь в нас совершенна.
13 Он дал нам от Своего Духа, и поэтому мы знаем, что мы в Нём, а Он в нас. 14 Мы сами видели и свидетельствуем, что Небесный Отец послал Сына быть Спасителем мира. 15 Кто признаёт Ису как (вечного) Сына Всевышнего, в том пребывает Аллах, и сам этот человек – в Аллахе. 16 Мы узнали и поверили, что Аллах нас любит.
Аллах есть любовь, и тот, кто пребывает в любви, пребывает в Аллахе, и Аллах пребывает в нём. 17 Любовь достигла среди нас совершенства, так что мы можем со всей уверенностью встречать Судный день, потому что каков Масих, таковы и мы в этом мире. 18 В любви нет страха, но совершенная любовь прогоняет его, потому что страх связан с наказанием, и кто боится, тот ещё не достиг совершенства в любви.
19 Мы любим, потому что Он первый нас полюбил. 20 Кто говорит: «Я люблю Аллаха», но ненавидит своего брата, тот лжец. Кто не любит своего брата, которого он видел, тот не может любить Аллаха, Которого не видел. 21 И вот повеление, которое Он нам оставил: «Кто любит Аллаха, тот должен любить и своего брата».

On Denying the Incarnation
4 Dear friends,(A) do not believe every spirit,(B) but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.(C) 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh(D) is from God,(E) 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist,(F) which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.(G)
4 You, dear children,(H) are from God and have overcome them,(I) because the one who is in you(J) is greater than the one who is in the world.(K) 5 They are from the world(L) and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us.(M) This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth(N) and the spirit of falsehood.(O)
God’s Love and Ours
7 Dear friends, let us love one another,(P) for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God(Q) and knows God.(R) 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.(S) 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son(T) into the world that we might live through him.(U) 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us(V) and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.(W) 11 Dear friends,(X) since God so loved us,(Y) we also ought to love one another.(Z) 12 No one has ever seen God;(AA) but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.(AB)
13 This is how we know(AC) that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.(AD) 14 And we have seen and testify(AE) that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.(AF) 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God,(AG) God lives in them and they in God.(AH) 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love.(AI) Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.(AJ) 17 This is how love is made complete(AK) among us so that we will have confidence(AL) on the day of judgment:(AM) In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear,(AN) because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 We love because he first loved us.(AO) 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister(AP) is a liar.(AQ) For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen,(AR) cannot love God, whom they have not seen.(AS) 21 And he has given us this command:(AT) Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.(AU)

4 我亲爱的朋友，现在世上出现了许多假先知，不要相信所有的灵，你们应该检验那些灵，看他们是否来自上帝。 2 你们可以这样认出上帝的圣灵：凡是承认耶稣基督降世为人的灵，就是来自上帝的灵。 3 不承认耶稣基督的灵，就不是来自上帝的灵，这是基督敌人的灵。你们已经听说基督的敌人要来了，他们现在已经在这世上了。
4 孩子们，你们都属于上帝。你们已打败了他们（假教师），因为在你们之中的那位（上帝）比世上的那位（魔鬼）更强大。 5 那些人（假教师）属于这个世界，所以他们所说的也来自这个世界。世人也听他们的。 6 但是我们属于上帝，认识上帝的人听我们的，不属于上帝的人则不听从我们。从这点，我们就知道怎么辨别给我们带来真理的灵和把我们引入歧途的灵。
爱来自上帝
7 亲爱的朋友们，让我们彼此相爱吧。因为爱来自上帝，有爱的人就是上帝的孩子，也认识上帝。 8 没有爱的人，就不会认识上帝。因为上帝就是爱。 9 上帝是这样向我们展示了他对我们的爱的：上帝派遣他的独子来到世上，以便让我们通过他而有生命。 10 这是真正的爱：真正的爱是上帝对我们的爱，而不是我们对上帝的爱。他派遣他的儿子做为祭品，除去了我们的罪孽。
11 亲爱的朋友，既然上帝如此地爱我们，我们就应该彼此相爱。 12 没有人见过上帝，但是如果我们彼此相爱，上帝就会活在我们之中；他的爱也会活在我们之中，而且在我们之中得以完全实现。
13 我们知道我们生活在上帝之中，上帝生活在我们之中。我们知道这点，是因为上帝赐给了我们他的灵。 14 我们目睹了父派遣儿子来做世上的救世主。这就是我们现在告诉人们的。 15 承认耶稣是上帝之子的人，上帝就在他之中，他也在上帝之中。 16 所以我们知道上帝对我们的爱，并对此坚信不疑。
上帝是爱。生活在爱里的人，就是生活在上帝之中，上帝也生活在他之中。 17 这样，上帝的爱在我们之中就得以完全实现。那么，当上帝审判我们那天，我们就可以坦然无畏了，因为我们在世上过着像基督一样的生活。 18 哪里有上帝的爱，哪里就没有畏惧。因为上帝完美的爱驱散恐惧。使人们害怕的是上帝的惩罚，所以，上帝的爱不会在怀有恐惧的人之中得以实现。
19 我们爱，是因为上帝先爱我们。 20 如果有人说“我爱上帝，”但他却憎恨他的兄弟，他就是一个说谎者。他既然不爱他看得见的兄弟，那么他就不可能爱他没有见过的上帝！ 21 我们已从基督那里领受了这条命令：爱上帝的人必须爱他的兄弟。

Love for God and One Another
4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but (A)test the spirits, whether they are of God; because (B)many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: (C)Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess [a]that Jesus [b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than (D)he who is in the world. 5 (E)They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and (F)the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. (G)By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Knowing God Through Love(H)
7 (I)Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who (J)loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 (K)In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten (L)Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, (M)not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son (N)to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, (O)if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Seeing God Through Love
12 (P)No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 13 (Q)By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And (R)we have seen and testify that (S)the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 (T)Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and (U)he who abides in love abides in God, and God (V)in him.
The Consummation of Love
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that (W)we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 (X)We love [c]Him because He first loved us.
Obedience by Faith
20 (Y)If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, [d]how can he love God (Z)whom he has not seen? 21 And (AA)this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
