22 (A)He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. 23 (B)When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, (C)but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. 24 (D)He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we (E)might die to sin and (F)live to righteousness. (G)By his wounds you have been healed. 25 For (H)you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to (I)the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

23 When they hurled their insults at him,(C) he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats.(D) Instead, he entrusted himself(E) to him who judges justly.(F) 24 “He himself bore our sins”(G) in his body on the cross,(H) so that we might die to sins(I) and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”(J) 25 For “you were like sheep going astray,”[b](K) but now you have returned to the Shepherd(L) and Overseer of your souls.(M)
