¹³ Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching^(A) that you have heard from me,^(B) in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

⁹ holding to the faithful message as taught,^(A) so that he will be able both to encourage with sound teaching^(B) and to refute those who contradict it.
