¹⁶ But ^(A)avoid ^(B)godless and empty chatter, for ^[a]it will lead to further ungodliness, ¹⁷ and their word will spread like ^[b]gangrene. Among them are ^(C)Hymenaeus and Philetus, ¹⁸ who have gone astray from the truth saying that ^(D)the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset ^(E)the faith of some.
