1 Timothy 4:11-16
English Standard Version
11 Command and teach (A)these things. 12 (B)Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers (C)an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. 14 (D)Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you (E)by prophecy when the council of elders (F)laid their hands on you. 15 Practice these things, immerse yourself in them,[a] so that (G)all may see your progress. 16 (H)Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save (I)both yourself and (J)your hearers.

New American Standard Bible
11 [a](A)Prescribe and teach these things. 12 (B)Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, (C)love, faith, and purity, show yourself (D)an example [b]of those who believe. 13 (E)Until I come, give your attention to the public [c](F)reading, to exhortation, and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was granted to you through words of (G)prophecy with (H)the laying on of hands by the [d](I)council of elders. 15 Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all. 16 (J)Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will (K)save both yourself and those who hear you.
