1 Timothy 2:8-11

8 I desire then that (A)in every place the men should pray, (B)lifting (C)holy hands without anger or quarreling; 9 likewise also (D)that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, 10 (E)but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works. 11 Let a woman learn quietly (F)with all submissiveness.

8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands(A) without anger or disputing. 9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,(B) 10 but with good deeds,(C) appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission.(D)
