1 Timothy 2:5-7

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time. 7 For this testimony, I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I speak the truth;[a] I am not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
