¹⁶ For ^(A)the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with ^(B)the trumpet of God. ^(C)And the dead in Christ will rise first. ^17 (D)Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them ^(E)in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus ^(F)we shall always be with the Lord.

⁴² And ^(A)He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify ^(B)that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge ^(C)of the living and the dead.

²⁶ “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.

^30 (A)Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, ^(B)and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

⁷ Behold, He is coming with ^(A)clouds, and every eye will see Him, even ^(B)they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Christ on a White Horse

^11 (A)Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, ^(B)a white horse. And He who sat on him was called ^(C)Faithful and True, and ^(D)in righteousness He judges and makes war. ^12 (E)His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. ^(F)He ^[a]had a name written that no one knew except Himself. ^13 (G)He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called ^(H)The Word of God.
