1 Thessalonians 2:6-8
English Standard Version Anglicised
6 (A)Nor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, (B)though we could have made (C)demands as (D)apostles of Christ. 7 But we were (E)gentle[a] among you, (F)like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. 8 So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God (G)but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.

New International Version
6 We were not looking for praise from people,(A) not from you or anyone else, even though as apostles(B) of Christ we could have asserted our authority.(C) 7 Instead, we were like young children[a] among you.
Just as a nursing mother cares for her children,(D) 8 so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God(E) but our lives as well.(F)
