¹² we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and ^(A)charged ^(B)you to walk in a manner worthy of God, ^(C)who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

Unity in the Body of Christ

4 I therefore, ^(A)a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to ^(B)walk in a manner worthy of ^(C)the calling to which you have been called,

⁶ whoever says he ^(A)abides in him ^(B)ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.

^6 (A)If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and ^(B)do not practice the truth. ⁷ But ^(C)if we walk in the light, ^(D)as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and ^(E)the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Stand Firm

¹³ But ^(A)we ought always to give thanks to God for you, ^(B)brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you ^(C)as the firstfruits^{[a] (D)}to be saved, ^(E)through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. ¹⁴ To this he called you through ^(F)our gospel, ^(G)so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
