²⁵ When they came down from the high place into the city, Samuel spoke with Saul ^(A)on the ^[a]roof.

² Now when evening came David arose from his bed and walked around on ^(A)the roof of the king’s house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful in appearance.

^27 (A)What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim ^(B)upon the housetops.

¹⁹ But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on ^(A)the roof and let him down ^(B)through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.

³ Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have ^[a]whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon ^(A)the housetops.

³¹ On that day, the one who is ^(A)on the housetop and whose goods are in the house must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one who is in the field must not turn back.

⁹ On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, ^(A)Peter went up on ^(B)the housetop about ^(C)the ^[a]sixth hour to pray.
