1 Samuel 4:8-10
Amplified Bible
8 Woe to us! Who will rescue us from the hand of these mighty [a]gods? These are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the wilderness. 9 Take courage, and be men, O Philistines, so that you do not become servants to the Hebrews, as they have been servants to you; act like men and fight!”
10 So the Philistines fought; Israel was defeated and every man fled to his tent. It was a very great defeat, for thirty thousand foot soldiers of Israel fell.

8 We’re doomed! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck(A) the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues(B) in the wilderness. 9 Be strong, Philistines! Be men, or you will be subject to the Hebrews, as they(C) have been to you. Be men, and fight!”
10 So the Philistines fought, and the Israelites were defeated(D) and every man fled to his tent. The slaughter was very great; Israel lost thirty thousand foot soldiers.
