¹² Now a man of Benjamin ran from the battle line and came to Shiloh the same day with ^(A)his robes torn and ^[a]dust on his head.

² Now it happened that on the third day, behold, ^(A)a man came out of the camp from Saul. And ^(B)his clothes were torn and ^[a]dust was on his head. And it happened when he came to David, that ^(C)he fell to the ground and prostrated himself.
