²⁸ Please forgive ^(A)the transgression of your maidservant; for ^(B)the Lord will certainly make for my lord an enduring house, because my lord is ^(C)fighting the battles of the Lord, and ^(D)evil will not be found in you all your days.

²⁷ For You, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have ^[a]made a revelation to Your servant, saying, ‘^(A)I will build you a house’; therefore Your servant has found ^[b]courage to pray this prayer to You.
