13 As the proverb of the ancients says, ‘(A)Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness’; but my hand shall not be against you. 14 After whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom are you pursuing? (B)A dead dog, (C)a single flea? 15 (D)The Lord therefore be judge and decide between [a]you and me; and may He see and (E)plead my cause and [b]deliver me from your hand.”

14 “Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Who are you pursuing? A dead dog?(B) A flea?(C) 15 May the Lord be our judge(D) and decide(E) between us. May he consider my cause and uphold(F) it; may he vindicate(G) me by delivering(H) me from your hand.”
