David’s men told him, “Look, we’re afraid here in Judah. How much then, if we go to Keilah against the Philistine army?”

David inquired of the Lord again, and the Lord answered him: “Get up, go down to Keilah. I’ll give the Philistines into your control.”[a] David and his men went to Keilah and fought the Philistines. He carried off their livestock and defeated them decisively,[b] and so David delivered the inhabitants of Keilah.

Once again David inquired(A) of the Lord, and the Lord answered him, “Go down to Keilah, for I am going to give the Philistines(B) into your hand.(C) So David and his men went to Keilah, fought the Philistines and carried off their livestock. He inflicted heavy losses on the Philistines and saved the people of Keilah.
