David Flees to Gath

¹⁰ Then David arose and fled that day from Saul and went to ^(A)Achish king of Gath.

³⁹ But it happened at the end of three years, that two of the slaves of Shimei ran away ^(A)to Achish son of Maacah, king of Gath. And they told Shimei, saying, “Behold, your slaves are in Gath.”
