Saul’s Anger toward Jonathan

30 Saul flew into a rage and told Jonathan, “You son of a perverse and rebellious woman! Don’t I know that you have chosen Jesse’s son to your shame and to the shame of your mother who bore you?[b] 31 As long as[c] Jesse’s son lives on the earth, neither you nor your kingdom will be established! Now send someone and bring David[d] to me. He’s a dead man!”
