37 ¶ Moreover David said, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. Then Saul said unto David, [a]Go, and the Lord be with thee.
38 And Saul put his raiment upon David, and put an helmet of brass upon his head, and put a brigandine upon him.
39 Then girded David his sword upon his raiment, and [b]began to go: for he never proved it: and David said unto Saul, I can not go with these: for I am not accustomed. Wherefore David put them off him.
