Now between the passes where Jonathan sought to go over to the garrison of the Philistines there was a crag of rock on one side[a] and a crag of rock on the other.[b] The name of the one was Bozez and the name of the other was Seneh. The one crag on the north was opposite Micmash and the other on the south was opposite Geba. So Jonathan said to his armor bearer,[c] “Come, let us go over to the garrisons of these uncircumcised; perhaps Yahweh will act for us, for there is no hindrance for Yahweh to save by many or by few.”

On each side of the pass(A) that Jonathan intended to cross to reach the Philistine outpost was a cliff; one was called Bozez and the other Seneh. One cliff stood to the north toward Mikmash, the other to the south toward Geba.(B)

Jonathan said to his young armor-bearer, “Come, let’s go over to the outpost of those uncircumcised(C) men. Perhaps the Lord will act in our behalf. Nothing(D) can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many(E) or by few.(F)
