14 But now your kingdom shall not continue; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart; and the Lord has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.” 15 And Samuel arose, and went up from Gilgal to Gib′e-ah of Benjamin.

And Saul numbered the people who were present with him, about six hundred men. 16 And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people who were present with them, stayed in Geba of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

14 But now your kingdom(A) will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart(B) and appointed(C) him ruler(D) of his people, because you have not kept(E) the Lord’s command.”
15 Then Samuel left Gilgal[a] and went up to Gibeah(F) in Benjamin, and Saul counted the men who were with him. They numbered about six hundred.(G)
Israel Without Weapons
16 Saul and his son Jonathan and the men with them were staying in Gibeah[b](H) in Benjamin, while the Philistines camped at Mikmash.
