24 And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him (A)whom the Lord has chosen? There is none like him among all the people.” And all the people shouted, (B)“Long live the king!”
25 Then Samuel told the people (C)the rights and duties of the kingship, and he wrote them in a book and laid it up before the Lord. Then Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his home. 26 Saul also went to his home (D)at Gibeah, and with him went men of valour whose hearts God had touched.

24 Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see the man the Lord has chosen?(A) There is no one like(B) him among all the people.”
Then the people shouted, “Long live(C) the king!”
25 Samuel explained(D) to the people the rights and duties(E) of kingship.(F) He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the Lord. Then Samuel dismissed the people to go to their own homes.
26 Saul also went to his home in Gibeah,(G) accompanied by valiant men(H) whose hearts God had touched.
