1 Samuel 18:26-27
New American Standard Bible
26 When his servants told David these words, [a]it pleased David to become the king’s son-in-law. So [b](A)before the time had expired, 27 David set out and went, (B)he and his men, and fatally struck two hundred men among the Philistines. Then (C)David brought their foreskins, and they presented all two hundred of them to the king, so that he might become the king’s son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal as a wife.

26 When the attendants told David these things, he was pleased to become the king’s son-in-law. So before the allotted time elapsed, 27 David took his men with him and went out and killed two hundred Philistines and brought back their foreskins. They counted out the full number to the king so that David might become the king’s son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal(A) in marriage.
