⁴ The Philistines assembled and came and encamped ^(A)at Shunem. And Saul gathered all Israel, and they encamped ^(B)at Gilboa.

The Death of Saul

31 ^(A)Now the Philistines were fighting against Israel, and the men of Israel fled before the Philistines and fell slain ^(B)on Mount Gilboa.

Elisha and the Shunammite Woman

⁸ One day Elisha went on to ^(A)Shunem, where a ^(B)wealthy woman lived, who urged him to eat some food. So whenever he passed that way, he would turn in there to eat food.

¹² David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of his son Jonathan from the men of Jabesh-gilead, ^(A)who had stolen them from the public square of ^(B)Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, on the day the Philistines killed Saul on Gilboa.
