5 Likewise, you younger members,[a] be subject to the presbyters. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another, for:
“God opposes the proud
but bestows favor on the humble.”(A)
6 So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.(B) 7 Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.(C)

And all of you must put on the apron of humility, to serve one another; for the scripture says, “God resists the proud, but shows favor to the humble.” 6 (B)Humble yourselves, then, under God's mighty hand, so that he will lift you up in his own good time. 7 (C)Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.
