5 (A) All of you young people should obey your elders. In fact, everyone should be humble toward everyone else. The Scriptures say,
“God opposes proud people,
but he helps everyone
who is humble.”
6 (B) Be humble in the presence of God's mighty power, and he will honor you when the time comes. 7 (C) God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.

5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves(A) to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility(B) toward one another, because,
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.(D) 7 Cast all your anxiety on him(E) because he cares for you.(F)
