1 Peter 3:6-8

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose children ye now are, if ye do well, and are not [a]put in fear by any terror.
7 Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor [b]unto the woman, as unto the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your prayers be not hindered.
8 Finally, be ye all likeminded, [c]compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded:

6 like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord.(A) You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.
7 Husbands,(B) in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded,(C) be sympathetic, love one another,(D) be compassionate and humble.(E)
