1 Peter 2:23-25

23 who being (A)reviled, was not reviling in return; while suffering, He was uttering no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously. 24 Who Himself [a](B)bore our sins in His body on the (C)tree, so that (D)having died to [b]sin, we might live to righteousness; (E)by His [c]wounds you were (F)healed. 25 For you were (G)continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the (H)Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

23 When they hurled their insults at him,(A) he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats.(B) Instead, he entrusted himself(C) to him who judges justly.(D) 24 “He himself bore our sins”(E) in his body on the cross,(F) so that we might die to sins(G) and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”(H) 25 For “you were like sheep going astray,”[a](I) but now you have returned to the Shepherd(J) and Overseer of your souls.(K)
