Be Holy

¹³ Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober,^(A) set your hope^(B) on the grace to be brought to you^(C) when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.^(D)

¹¹ “Men of Galilee,”^(A) they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back^(B) in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

⁷ Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift^(A) as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.^{(B) 8} He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless^(C) on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.^(D)

God’s Children and Sin

²⁸ And now, dear children,^(A) continue in him, so that when he appears^(B) we may be confident^(C) and unashamed before him at his coming.^(D)
