36 And he built the inner courtyard(A) of three courses(B) of dressed stone and one course of trimmed cedar beams.

8 Let it be known to the king that we went to the house of the great God in the province of Judah. It is being built with cut[a] stones, and its beams are being set in the walls. This work is being done diligently and succeeding through the people’s efforts.(A)

8 The king should know that we went to the district of Judah, to the temple of the great God. The people are building it with large stones and placing the timbers in the walls. The work(A) is being carried on with diligence and is making rapid progress under their direction.
