²⁹ Then he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, from within the inner and outer sanctuaries.

³² So he made two doors of olive wood, and he carved on them carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he spread the gold on the cherubim and on the palm trees.

³⁵ And he carved on it cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers; and he overlaid them with gold evenly applied on the engraved work.

³⁷ Its side pillars were toward the outer court; and ^(A)palm tree ornaments were on its side pillars on each side, and its stairway had eight ^(B)steps.

¹⁸ It was ^[a]carved with ^(A)cherubim and ^(B)palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces, ¹⁹ a ^(C)man’s face toward the palm tree on one side and a young ^(D)lion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side; they were ^[b]carved on all the house all around. ²⁰ From the ground to above the entrance ^(E)cherubim and ^(F)palm trees were ^[c]carved, as well as on the wall of the nave.
