²⁴ For he had dominion over everything ^[a]west of the ^[b]River, from Tiphsah even to ^(A)Gaza, ^(B)over all the kings ^[c]west of the ^[d]River; and ^(C)he had peace on all sides around about him.

⁹ Behold, a son will be born to you, who shall be a man of rest; and ^(A)I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side; for ^(B)his name shall be ^[a]Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days.
