²³ Of Jezebel also has Yahweh spoken, saying, ‘^(A)The dogs will eat Jezebel in the ^[a]district of Jezreel.’ ^24 (B)The one belonging to Ahab, who dies in the city, the dogs will eat, and the one who dies in the field the birds of the sky will eat.”

³⁰ Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah, “He shall have ^(A)no one to sit on the throne of David, and his ^(B)dead body shall be cast out to the heat of the day and the frost of the night.
