²¹ So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them and ^(A)boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he arose and followed Elijah and ministered to him.

⁴ *got up from supper, and *laid aside His garments; and taking a towel, He ^(A)girded Himself.

Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet

⁵ Then He *poured water into the basin, and began to ^(B)wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

¹³ You call Me ^(A)Teacher and ^(B)Lord; and ^[a]you are right, for so I am. ¹⁴ If I then, ^(C)the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
