15 Then the Lord said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; (A)and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. 16 Also you shall anoint (B)Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And (C)Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. 17 (D)It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will (E)kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, (F)Elisha will kill.

15 The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael(A) king over Aram. 16 Also, anoint(B) Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha(C) son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah(D) to succeed you as prophet. 17 Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael,(E) and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.(F)
