¹⁰ And he said, “^(A)I have been very zealous for Yahweh, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, ^(B)pulled down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And ^(C)I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

²³ And they brought Uriah out from Egypt and led him to King Jehoiakim, who ^(A)struck him down with a sword and cast his dead body into the ^[a]burial place of the ^[b]common people.
