¹⁰ He said, “^(A)I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, ^(B)torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And ^(C)I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.”

¹⁶ He set up the altar of the Lord and sacrificed ^(A)peace offerings and thank offerings on it; and he ordered Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.
