¹⁹ Now then, send orders and gather to me all Israel at ^(A)Mount Carmel, ^(B)together with 450 prophets of Baal and four hundred prophets of ^[a](C)the Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”

⁶ So ^(A)the king of Israel assembled the ^[a]prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Should I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead or should I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will hand it over to the king.”
