10 therefore behold, I will bring harm upon the house of Jeroboam and (A)will cut off from Jeroboam every male, (B)both bond and free in Israel, and (C)will burn up the house of Jeroboam, as a man burns up dung until it is all gone. 11 (D)Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat, for the Lord has spoken it.”’

10 “‘Because of this, I am going to bring disaster(A) on the house of Jeroboam. I will cut off from Jeroboam every last male in Israel—slave or free.[a](B) I will burn up the house of Jeroboam as one burns dung, until it is all gone.(C) 11 Dogs(D) will eat those belonging to Jeroboam who die in the city, and the birds(E) will feed on those who die in the country. The Lord has spoken!’
