⁶ Then the king answered and said to the man of God, “Please ^[a](A)entreat Yahweh your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.” So ^(B)the man of God ^[b]entreated Yahweh, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and it became as it was before.

¹⁹ Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not ^(A)fear Yahweh and entreat the favor of Yahweh, and ^(B)Yahweh ^[a]relented of the evil demise which He had spoken against them? But we are ^(C)committing a great evil against ourselves.”

²¹ The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, “Let us go at once to ^[a](A)entreat the favor of Yahweh and to seek Yahweh of hosts; ^[b]I will also go.”
