30 The prophet buried the man of God in his own grave; and everyone grieved for him, crying out, “I’m so sorry, brother!” 31 After the prophet had buried the man of God, he spoke to his sons.

Prophet: When death takes me someday, I want you to bury me in the same grave as the man of God, so that my bones rest next to his bones. This will be an honor for me. 32 The words he cried out against the altar in Bethel and against the high places in the Samaritan towns will surely happen, for those words were the Eternal’s message.

30 Then he laid the body in his own tomb,(A) and they mourned over him and said, “Alas, my brother!”(B)

31 After burying him, he said to his sons, “When I die, bury me in the grave where the man of God is buried; lay my bones(C) beside his bones. 32 For the message he declared by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel and against all the shrines on the high places(D) in the towns of Samaria(E) will certainly come true.”(F)
