8 But Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men that belonged to David, were not with Adonijah. 9 And Adonijah [a]slew sheep and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zoheleth, which is beside En-rogel; and he called all his brethren, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants: 10 but Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.

8 But Zadok(A) the priest, Benaiah(B) son of Jehoiada, Nathan(C) the prophet, Shimei(D) and Rei and David’s special guard(E) did not join Adonijah.
9 Adonijah then sacrificed sheep, cattle and fattened calves at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel.(F) He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons,(G) and all the royal officials of Judah, 10 but he did not invite(H) Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the special guard or his brother Solomon.(I)
